Julian was at two events this weekend and spoke a little about more Nip/Tuck- the series has finished filming but we have a long wait until the final episodes air.
It’s only been a week without Gilles Marini gracing our televisions in sequins and spandex, but the withdrawals have already set in.
So as a special treat for you—and of course, ourselves—we sat down with the sexy Dancing With the Stars runner-up to chat about the final season of the always salacious Nip/Tuck…
Nip/Tuck won’t be back until 2010—or forever as we say here in TV land—but his character is coming on to wreak so much havoc on Sean (Dylan Walsh) and the fam, we couldn’t resist spilling the goods about six months in advance.
Big Bad Erica is Back: Vanessa Redgrave is back as Julia’s not-so-sweet momma and she’s bringing a little surprise along: new hubby and much younger bad boy, Reynaldo Panettiere (Gilles). And in case you’ve never seen the show, no, they didn’t marry for love. “He’s involved in trying to scheme Sean away from his kids so we can have the control of them. They realize I’m not the guy she should have married because I’ve done bad things and then there’s a big payback from Julia.” Pretty standard for the plastic surgery drama and for the record, when we asked Gilles to clarify that he is trying to steal the kids, he stated, “I’m not trying, I’m doing it.”
Sex and the City 2.0? Not quite, but we did of course ask the question on everyone’s mind: will we see a little more naked Gilles on Nip/Tuck? The answer: kind of. “You don’t see me in the shower. You see me in a towel and you realize that I’ve just had sex and I’m coming out of the shower because I needed to be clean.” Delish!
On a Scale of 1-10? “It’s going to be crazy; I’m talking crazier than ever.” From Gilles mouth to your ears, if you didn’t already think Nip/Tuck had jumped the shark (illegal organ harvesting? Murder via teddy bear stuffing machine? The Carver?!), get ready for a wacky final season. “Every scene and every episode of the next season is unbelievable. The writing is so sharp. It’s better than ever,” says Gilles. “It’s very edgy and very bad. It’s Nip/Tuck and it’s naughty.” Sums it up better than we could.

If you’ve ever wondered who brought Nip/Tuck’s wild Kimber into the world, you’ll soon meet her — and she’ll be played by Melanie Griffith.
The Working Girl actress will play Brandie, Kimber’s beautiful and considerate mother, who visits her ex-pornstar daughter from Wisconsin, a show insider confirms exclusively to TVGuide.com. (Griffith couldn’t be better cast in terms of looks — her resemblance to Kelly Carlson, who plays Kimber, is striking.)
Brandie will be joined by Les, her too-tan, on-again-off-again car-salesman boyfriend of six years. Les, played by Robin Thomas (Another World, Who’s the Boss), ignites insta-hate from Christian (Julian McMahon). The breast-cancer-battling doc sees too much of his own abuse of women — especially Kimber — in Les’s treatment of Brandie.
Griffith’s arc begins in the FX drama’s seventh and final season. No airdate has been set for it or Season 6.

Julian McMahon Detailed Biography:
Julian McMahon was the second of three children. He studied law at the University of Sydney, but he became bored with his classes after his first year and began a career in modeling, working primarily in commercials. In 1987, he headed off for print modeling assignments in Los Angeles, New York, Milan, Rome, Paris, and other international fashion centers. His appearance in a TV commercial promoting jeans in his home country made him popular enough to be cast as the lead in an Australian “Dynasty”-like series, in which he played a wealthy heir. After working for 18 months on the series, he starred in “Home and Away” (1988), another successful series, where he won a best actor award from a national magazine.
McMahon later performed on stage, appearing in a musical version of “Home and Away” in Britain as well as in “Love Letters” in Sydney and Melbourne. After a lead role in the feature film Wet and Wild Summer! (1992) (which also starred Elliott Gould), he went to Los Angeles to read for American projects.
In 1992, he was cast as Ian Rain on NBC’s daytime drama “Another World” (1964). Two years later, he left to appear in various plays in Los Angeles. He also appeared in the feature film Magenta (1996) before landing his role on “Profiler” (1996).
In his free time, McMahon enjoys surfing, biking, and “cooking anything” (especially roasts, pastas and ethnic cuisine). He is a fan of baseball, football and basketball, and he collects classic books.
